Construction manager bij Vicoma

Do you like to be responsible for the implementation during the construction phase and do you always ensure that all parties are satisfied upon delivery? Then be sure to read on! We are immediately looking for a Construction Manager for our branch in Rotterdam because of our ambition and growth

Our customers want to be taken care of more and more and as a Construction Manager within Vicoma you have an important role in this. From a Construction Manager at Vicoma we expect you to be able to lead various multidisciplinary projects within different industries such as (renewable) energy, chemistry, oil & gas, storage and transshipment and the food industry.

As a Construction Manager you are responsible for monitoring planning, progress and deadlines during implementation. You use the expertise of your colleagues to ensure that the work proceeds according to planning and requirements. You are the point of contact for new and existing relationships and responsible for preparing reports regarding progress, planning and quality. You manage (sub)contractors during the construction process. The development of 'tools' for Construction Management is also part of the work.

What are you bringing?

• Minimum HBO working and thinking level
• At least ten years of experience within the industry
• We are looking for you because of your knowledge, skills and experience. You ask for little (professional) support, you provide it!
• Experience in leading implementation projects within an industrial environment
• Knowledge of current professional standards, permits and (existing government) regulations
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office and (planning) software programs relevant to these fields
• Good command of both the Dutch and English language, spoken and written

• Leadership skills and ability to motivate people
• Strong communication and communication skills with a natural predominance
• Energetic and driven, you show in everything that you want to make it a success
• Analytical, eye for detail, pragmatic and responsible
• Being able to switch quickly, being able to withstand stress, being able to keep an overview and having a strong prioritization skills
• Likes to take on a challenge, thinks in terms of opportunities and remains realistic
